The NedGraphics 2025 Software update brings powerful new tools and features to empower your creativity, streamline your workflows, and ensure precision in every detail of your production and design processes.
A global selection option for patterns or colors has been enhanced with a shortcut for faster and easier access. This eliminates the need for repetitive adjustments and manual changes, simplifying workflow and saving time.
The new printout for woven carpet production, using frames from Texcelle’s ‘Create Planted Design’ plug-in, provides detailed guides for yarn bobbin placement and count in creels. This enhancement improves accuracy and efficiency in the production process, while minimizing errors and saving time. (Available for all Texcelle tiers).
A new snap option for selections, similar to Motifs, allows users to align selections by snapping to nearby guidelines within a 5-pixel range, enhancing precision and efficiency during the design process.
A new option in Texcelle lets users bypass file data coding for specific words in the printing layout, ensuring they print as intended. This enhances accuracy and preserves the desired presentation. (Available for all Texcelle tiers)
A new option allows users to generate a warp/weft design without modifying existing work, providing the flexibility to experiment with new designs while preserving original files and avoiding unintended changes. (Available for all Texcelle tiers)
The overlap table window is now resizable for larger designs and color configurations, enabling easier data entry and improved visibility when working with complex designs. (Available for all Texcelle tiers)
A ‘Shuffle’ option has been added to the Texture Simulation window, along with a print preview to visualize the effect before starting the simulation. This streamlines the process and allows users to confirm the desired effect beforehand.
Users can now save “Park/Protect colors” on the color palette within DES files across all Texcelle versions. For non-layered designs, users can choose to load park/protect information from the DES file and remember the choice; for layered designs, this information will load automatically.
Users can enter the “&” character directly in a text field and have it print correctly, eliminating the need for workarounds like entering “&&”, ensuring accurate text representation in print layouts.
The effect palette window will now display the palette name when opening a file, with a “*” symbol appearing next to the name to indicate any changes made. This feature will help users track and manage changes to the palette more effectively.
The reset feature allows users to revert color sequences to their original settings, reducing the risk of mistakes and ensuring consistency in the design process. (Available in all Jacquard Tiers).
Important information is now aligned to the left in the bottom bar of the Card/Design view, ensuring visibility even when resizing the window for improved ease of use. (Available in all Jacquard Tiers).
A sign will now display when a yarn has a name in the yarn palette, simplifying yarn identification and improving organization during production. (Available in all Jacquard Tiers).
The new Auto Work Copy option automatically saves work, reducing the risk of data loss and ensuring smooth and continuous productivity across multiple projects. (Available in all Jacquard Tiers).
A negative button and scroll arrows have been added to the “Edit Weave” option, providing more control over design adjustments and making editing quicker and more intuitive. (Available in all Jacquard Tiers).
Users can now select the information type for the weave check and choose to compare the weave size against either the card size or the design size, enhancing control and flexibility in analyzing weaves to ensure alignment with specific design requirements. (Available in all Jacquard Tiers).
An Eraser tool has been added in the Card View, similar to the one in Texcelle, allowing users to easily clear corrections and edits.
Users can now assign custom names to on/off hooks for clearer identification and organization within the NCL. Customized hook names in the Loom Editor will also appear in Jacquard for enhanced clarity.
A new button allows users to sync all yarns in a Tuft document with the current Yarn Book settings, ensuring consistent yarn updates and reducing the need for manual adjustments, improving workflow efficiency.
The Yarn Book will now function as a standalone application, compatible with Jacquard Advanced, Jacquard Premium, Tuft, and Tuft Premium, in addition to its existing support for the True Coloring license.
Gain greater control over yarn information in Print Layout Simulation and Design. Users can customize the print layout by selecting which details—like yarn name and size—to include or exclude, minimizing confusion from excessive default information.
Designers can now send ‘card’ files (JC5/EP) directly to a Jacquard controller, eliminating the need for physical media like floppy disks or USB drives. This streamlines the workflow, removing the need for manual file uploads in the weaving room.
Jacquard Connect offers customers the flexibility to create their own user interfaces while leveraging the robust capabilities of NedGraphics technology.
Jacquard Connect automates the conversion process for different harnesses or tie-ups, allowing the same design to be used effortlessly across multiple looms. This feature reduces the risk of errors and saves valuable time by eliminating the need for manual file creation for each loom.
For customers using Staubli Jacquard controllers, Jacquard Connect allows loom parameters to be directly attached to the JC5 files, ensuring that these settings are accurately applied during production.
Jacquard Connect acts as a vital adapter, ensuring your design-to-production workflow is optimized by enhancing productivity, reducing manual intervention, and maintaining consistent quality. This versatile solution supports Staubli, Bonas, and some Picanol Dobby machines, making it the ideal digital nexus for designers and manufacturers seeking to streamline their weaving operations. This feature is not included in the automated updates and is billed separately. Please feel free to contact us for further details.
